Whether you’re looking for Cubs and Scouts BSA, to our older youth programs like Venturing or Exploring Fire & EMS there’s something here for any family looking to instill leadership skills, life lessons, and more. Monthly Meetings
Round Table Meeting: Attending a district roundtable meeting can offer several benefits for both new and experienced scouting leaders such as training opportunities, networking, program ideas, district updates, and fellowship with other leaders.
The Southern District Roundtable meeting takes place on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 1250 East Racine Street, Janesville, WI 53545.
District Committee Meeting: The district committee plays a crucial role in supporting and promoting the Scouting program at the local level. Them committee is composed of dedicated volunteers who work together to ensure the success of scouting activities. They are responsible for district membership growth and retention, program support, fundraising, and nominating and recruiting new volunteers. If you are interested in joining the district committee please reach out to the district chair to request more information.
The Southern District Committee meets on a monthly basis at Festival Foods in Janesville (2233 Humes Rd, Janesville, WI 53545) on the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM.
District Commissioner Meeting: Commissioners are vital in providing support and guidance to Scouting units, helping to ensure overall success to the Scouting program. Their responsibilities include providing direct support and mentorship to units, maintaining regular contact with unit leaders, and assisting in implementing programs and policies.
