Scouting America’s Commissioner Mission
Our mission is to empower local unit leaders to deliver Scouting’s programs effectively, helping to fulfill the organization’s overall mission: to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices by instilling the values of the Scout Oath and Law, creating responsible citizens and leaders. Commissioners serve as the primary support system, building relationships, troubleshooting unit needs, and ensuring units are strong, growing, and delivering quality programs that change lives.
