National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) is an exciting, action-packed program designed to provide all youth members of the Boy Scouts of America with leadership skills and experience they can use in their home units and in other situations demanding leadership of self and others. The training of the youth leadership of a unit is very important.
This course follows the national Boy Scouts of America syllabus for National Youth Leadership Training and participants will be both Boy Scouts and Venturers. The course will be co-ed.
2017 Course will run JUNE 25th – 30th
The course is nationally registered and the syllabus for the national BSA course will be followed. Cost of the course is $270.00. All fees are due 30 days prior to the course.
Requirements: At course start date each youth must be at least 13 years of age, First Class for Scouts or be a registered Venture Crew member, have completed Troop Leadership Skills Training (or equivalent) or Venture Leadership Skills Training. Youth are either serving or will serve in the future as key unit leaders.
