Roundtable is for all leaders!  The Mohawk District Roundtables are usually held at 7:00 PM on the 2nd Thursday of the month at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4505 Regent St., Madison, WI 53705.

What is Roundtable?
Roundtable is a great place to meet other leaders, get some great ideas, and find out what is going on at Mohawk District and Glacier’s Edge Council events. ALL leaders are encouraged to attend!  Having an issue with your Pack or Troop?  Chances are you’re not alone.  Find out how other Units are addressing their challenges.  Did your Unit go on a fantastic trip or a fun activity?  Come and brag about your fun times and share your programming ideas with other leaders.

Roundtables start with announcements at 7pm. We have a group presentation/training for everyone called the “Big Rock”, and then Cub leaders and Boy Scout/Venturing leaders separate for informative breakout sessions.  Cub leaders usually look ahead at planning the next months Pack and Den meetings, incorporating the monthly theme.  Boy Scout and Venturing leaders enjoy presentations on a variety of topics such as hiking, planning overnight canoe trips, coaching Life to Eagle transitions, geocaching and MUCH more.

The Mohawk Chapter of Takoda Lodge, Order of the Arrow also meets during this time.

Who should attend Roundtable?
Every adult volunteer, regardless of position, benefits from attending the monthly Roundtable. Committee members, Cubmasters, Den Leaders, Scoutmasters, Venturing Advisors and youth leaders, will gain valuable information!  Even if you are unable to attend, each Pack, Troop, or Crew should designate at least one leader to attend and represent the Unit.  It is well worth an hour and a half each month.
