Scouting for Food

Annually, Scouts from across the country work together to collect tens of millions of pounds of food which is distributed to those in need. All units are invited to participate in the BSA’s annual food drive, known as Scouting for Food.

Bags are distributed on March 4th to homes with instructions on how to make a food donation. Scouts return the next weekend to collect the full bags and deliver them to a local food bank. Thanks to a wonderful donation from Festival Foods, we will be using grocery bags with the information printed on them.

At the end of the event, don’t forget to log your Unit’s service hours!
