This year Wisconsin River District is offering a family camp out to all Cub Scouts & their families where there will be FUN opportunities for you to take advantage of. We are Planning to have 10 different activities for scouts to participate in. Some of the opportunities include things like Archery, BB-gun, Slingshots & Crafts Along with a group campfire Saturday night.
Local Boy Scouts Troops 74, 58, 337, 247 & 62 will be there helping out with activities. We will be preparing the Saturday night meal for all participants.(Beef Tacos)
We will also be preparing a hot breakfast Sunday morning. (Pancakes and Scrambled Eggs)
We do Require that everyone register ahead of time. This is so we can have the proper amount of food & activity materials on hand.
Be sure to take advantage of the earlybird registration Which is $10 per person.
(Early bird ends October 6 at 11PM)
If you weight too long and miss the earlybird special It will be $15 per person.
(Registration closes on October 11 at 11PM)

• Camp Check-in Opens at 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM

• Camping Area:
If your unit wishes to tent together they need to arrive together!
We are not able to hold spots so anyone arriving separately will be placed where the next spot is available. So you can arrive separately from your unit and even though you won’t be right beside your unit you will more than likely be in the same general area.

What to Bring!!
• Tent
• Sleeping Bag & Pillow
• Water Bottle with your name on it (this will be reused throughout your stay)
• Quick Sack Lunch. (for if you don’t have time or want to eat before arriving)
• Flashlight
• Unit First Aid Kit (at least one per unit)
• Bug Repellant (non aerosol)
• Sunscreen
• Personal Camp Chair
• Proper Clothing i.e. jacket, rain-gear and so forth, keep an eye on forecast
(No Open Toe Shoes, Be Prepared to Be in the Woods)

Some things NOT to bring:
Trailers, Food or Beverages (Other than Saturday arrival picnic lunch), Firewood, Cooking Utensils, Camp Stoves, Space Heaters
