News updates (9/16/13)

  • Bring your own drinking water. We will have water for cleaning and putting out fires or to drink if treated appropriately. There is limited drinking water available for units that can’t carry water in.
  • We still need adults or older experienced scouts to run morning competitions. Also looking for MB counselors for Surveying and Pioneering and help with Indian Lore, Orienteering as well as Webelos advancement in Map & Compass.
  •  All units should review and download Signaling sheet that they will use in morning competition that is in the Patrol Guide. This is part of the morning competition

WHO: All Webelos Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venture Scouts, and Explorers of Glacier’s Edge Council are invited to attend an all council camporee!

WHAT: A weekend long Scouting adventure and fun with Scouting skills competitions and events designed to take full advantage of the historical setting that is Old World Wisconsin.

WHEN: Friday, September 29th through Sunday, September 29th, 2013

WHERE: Old World Wisconsin near Eagle, Wisconsin in the Kettle Moraine State Forest

WHY: This is a chance for all the Scouts and Scouters to gather together in Scouting fellowship and meet other Scouts and Scouters from all over the Glacier’s Edge Council.
