Scouts and Scouters: We would like to ask your help in assisting VetsRoll create a very special time for the 200 WWII and Korean veterans and Rosie the Riveters who will be traveling by 10 motor coaches to the Flight 93 Memorial in Pennsylvania and to Washington D.C. May 20-23, 2012. In D.C. they will be visiting 5 of the war memorials and Arlington National Cemetery including the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Mail Call was a very special time for those serving our country in the military during war time. It was then they would receive mail from their family and friends.

During our trip we will be having a Mail Call when in Hagerstown, PA. You can make it a great time by writing letters to our veterans or Rosie the Riveters (they worked in the factories during the war) on the trip. Your letter/card can include thanking them for their serving our country, protecting other Americans from harm, and sacrificing time with family while serving. Draw them a picture – whatever your heart tells you to share with them!

Your letters will be part of our thank you to these men and women who are now nearing the end of their lives. The veterans who took this trip in 2010 or 2011 have said they never felt so honored or appreciated as they did as a result of this trip gifted to them from VetsRoll.org.

Thank you for participating.
